About this event
A bit about Norton Community Fridge We would hope that anyone who is struggling financially would take advantage of this free food. Equally if people take food and are in a position to give a donation that is OK too. We have been supported in setting up by Norton Town Council and Yorkshire Housing Association. We have also received charitable donations from The Rotary Club and The Lions Club. We are not for profit, any donations go towards our running expenses. We offer tea, coffee and biscuits to anyone using the fridge, as well as a warm friendly space. We are open Tuesday and Friday from 10am to Noon, though will close early if we run out of produce. The only rules for people taking food from the fridge is that is not sold on, and that it is used. Please do come round and see us on one of the mornings we are open and have a coffee with us.
