with Jill Flowers Friday 12th June   2025 10:00 – 4:00 ‘The Flower Brooch’ This is Jill's popular experimental workshop using water soluble fabric. The activity will be to complete a ‘Flower Brooch’ in a day….if not two of them! It is a new and contemporary way of using old magazines, deconstructing and reconstructing the papers and producing a piece of wearable ‘Art’. They will all develop differently with unusual shapes, colours, patterns, some bold and solid but others delicate and dainty. Each piece will be embellished and decorated with sequins, baubles and beads. Individual starter packs are supplied with products and brooch backing to complete the project. They are completely personal and unique. Level:   A sewing machine is required with a basic knowledge. Workroom: Please be aware that the workroom is upstairs with a kitchen and toilet on the same floor. Requirements: The requirements list will be sent out in plenty of time for the class.  Follow on Classes:  Any of the classes/workshops that tickle your fancy
