Moana Island Crafts Adventure Set sail for a sun‑soaked crafting journey inspired by Moana’s world. Children step into the spirit of the islands as they create three magical keepsakes, each linked to a moment from the beloved story. Coconut Cup Decorating — Kids design their own island‑style coconut cup using paints, tropical stickers and colourful trims. It’s a fun, hands‑on craft that brings a taste of Polynesian flair to life. Heart of Te Fiti Necklace — Young explorers mould and decorate their own glowing green “Heart of Te Fiti” pendant, threading it onto cord with beads and charms. A beautiful take‑home treasure symbolising courage, kindness and adventure. Build Moana’s Boat — Children assemble and decorate a mini outrigger boat, complete with sail patterns inspired by Moana’s voyage. Perfect for imaginative play or displaying island music, friendly helpers and a warm, creative atmosphere, this Moana‑themed craft event invites every child to become a wayfinder for the day — discovering, designing and celebrating the magic of the ocean. Willow Flower Workshop

Have you ever fancied trying a willow weaving workshop? Join us and Womblewitch for our very first willow weaving workshop. In this class you will learn to make a beautiful woven flower that can be either hung from a wall or displayed on a willow stick (which is provided). You will create the centre of the flower using traditional basket making techniques. You will then have an option to make an additional small woven leaf to add to the stem of your flower if you wish. Suitable for beginners, all materials and tools provided. £44.95 per person (includes full demonstration by instructor, all materials and light refreshments). Please note all tickets are non-refundable, however name changes are permitted if you are unable to attend. This would only be permitted if you contact us 48 hours prior to the event and advise of the change of details. Should this event be cancelled, due to circumstances beyond our control, we will offer a transfer to an alternative event of the same value (subject to availability) or a credit voucher equivalent to the full value of your booking. This credit will be emailed to you and will be valid for use at Lanchester Garden Centre for 3 months from the date of issue.

Fused Glass Wind Chime Workshop

Join us and Nat from Northern Sky Designs for an afternoon of creative fun at our Fused Glass Wind Chime Workshop. Let the sun shine through and brighten your home. This piece can hung either inside or outside, all year round adding a splash of colour, shape and style to the area of your choice. This course is suitable for beginners but also great if you’ve made glass before and fancy trying something different and all tuition and materials will be provided. Once made, the pieces will be taken back to Nat’s kiln and fired and set ready for collection from the Lanchester Garden Centre around a week later. Suitable for beginners or those with some experience. £45.00 per person (includes full demonstration by instructor, all materials and refreshments) This workshop is aimed at adults and children 16+ year old.
