Join Settle Parish Church and Friends of the Settle Carlisle Line for a fun-filled community day packed with activities, food, entertainment, and railway heritage for all ages. Enjoy attractions including an Engine Zip Wire, Model Railways, Bell-Ringing Experience, Navvy Graveyard Trail, raffle, tombola, stalls, picnic areas, ice creams, café and BBQ — plus much, much more! Whether you’re a railway enthusiast, history lover, or simply looking for a great family day out this summer, there’ll be something for everyone. Come together to celebrate this special 150th anniversary and help support the work of the church and local community projects. Stepping Stones

“Stepping Stones”, a friendly babies and toddlers group, meets in Holy Ascension church on Thursday mornings during term time. We start at 10am and welcome you with a cuppa and chat. At 10.30am we share a story, enjoy songs and making music together. Our favourite time – “snack time” follows – lots of healthy snacks and a drink for everyone.
