Evening Cookery Club - Japanese

Japanese cuisine offers an exciting variety of seasonal vegetables, seafood and meats which make some of the world’s most iconic ingredients and dishes. Japanese home-cooking uses minimal intervention and just a handful ingredients, allowing the produce at hand to speak proudly for itself. On this session, you will explore some traditional Japanese techniques and staple ingredients which transform the ordinary into the sensational. Experience the meditation of traditional slow-braising and the quick pace of teriyaki. EXPECT DISHES LIKE: + Kakuni (Sake Braised Pork) + Yakitori (Traditional Grilled Chicken) + Yakionigiri (Grilled Rice Balls) + Chuka Fu (Miso Cabbage Salad) + Gom-ae (Green Vegetables with Peanut Sauce). Suitable for vegetarian, vegan and gluten free. For home cooks who want to explore something new. Our cookery classes are relaxed, informative and fun and are specially designed by our teaching chefs to give you skills and confidence in the kitchen. So enjoy an alternative night out preparing a delicious, seasonal selection of dishes which you can eat during strategic breaks or simply take home to enjoy in front of the T.V.! All of our weeknight cookery club sessions are suitable for beginner cooks and are led by our friendly chef tutors.
