RUNNING COMMENTARY Tuesday 5th May at 7pm BYOB: There will not be a bar so you are welcome to bring whatever refreshment (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) to consume during the show. We can provide glasses if necessary. TIckets: £11 Written & performed by P Burton-Morgan After a decade of no exercise (besides child-rearing and reaching for cake) 41 year old poet P Burton-Morgan finds themselves newly single and hungry to return to pre-childbirth levels of fitness. Cue Rocky montage, but with a middle-aged red-faced mum reciting sonnets on the South West Coast path. So far so solitary until they join their local running club and find themselves drawn into a world of flirting, friendship, fierce competition and the unexpected discovery that they’re ferociously fast. With their trademark mix of witty wordplay and open-hearted tenderness this solo show is a silly, sexy, sweaty romp – don’t forget to stretch first.
