There is plenty going on in the life of our church at the moment, with an unprecedented number of people wanting to be baptised, new believers wanting to be married, lives being changed and disciples being made. You can see a full description of some of the big headlines here in a video from Jamie, including why we are now looking for a treasurer and a new trustee and who those are going to be. [Watch the full video here](https://youtu.be/oY5Vf63C78U) Here are just some of the highlights and details we will expand on at our meeting on the 24th: - Stephen Baines starting on the 1st week of June as assistant pastor, lead on children's work and youth, discipleship pathways and Sunday service design - Contractor appointed for the windows - Finding a contractor for the balcony - House sale with the solicitors - A team has been put together for the Thursday night service - A team has been put together to develop the coffee shop vision and business plan [- Wash](https://www.washstudio.co.uk/work) have been appointed to renew our branding - New ministries in the pipeline, women's ministry, running group, creative network. Still in development, but watch this space. - Expanding number of kids' groups in the near future - More baptisms on the 31st of May It is so important to note, though, that despite this sounding very exciting, we are not seeking to be busy or productive for the sake of it.

The Bohemians

Queen’s Greatest Hits with The Bohemians Don’t Stop us Now-and there's certainly no stopping this comprehensive re-enactment of Queens greatest hits! One of the UK’s longest running and Internationally renowned Queen Tribute band, The Bohemians, take you on ahigh-energy roller-coaster ride of a concert, featuring the music, costumes, and show man ship of one of the world’s most popular and iconic rock acts of all time, Queen. Billed as ‘The World’s most exciting Queen Tribute’ The Bohemians start proceedings as they mean to continue. Right from the beginning you will be gripped by a bombastic, authentic audio visual representation of Queen’s iconic Wembley ‘86 performance as the Bohemians burst onto the stage to the strains of One Vision and A Kind of Magic. So many fabulous hits to be covered but they’re all here, from the early piano and harmony heavy wonders of Killer Queen and Don’t Stop Me Now, to the later, catchy pop anthems of the eighties. The second hour concentrates on the later hits and once again there is an array of brilliance to embrace. The stunning, Breakthru provides both the introduction and the costume presentation for this part of the set which includes a new feature of the Bohemians stage show, a slick rendering of classics from the late eighties and early nineties era. I Want it all, The Show must go on and the haunting, Days of our Lives are just some of those featured. The set then pay tribute to the sights and sounds of the famous Live Aid...
