Vibrant country folk duo with stunning harmonies. Cobalt Tales is a vibrant and entertaining female duo based in Sheffield, United Kingdom. The duo consists of Pat and Nuala, who originally hail from Wigan and Stockport, respectively. They follow threads through the tales of lives and ancestry, singing about people, places, events, and experiences that have shaped them. Their music encompasses a wide variety of styles, including ballad, country, folk, rock, soul, and a capella. Cobalt Tales’ performances are characterized by compelling, soulful vocals, warm acoustic guitar, plaintive harmonica, nifty rolling bass, swingy scat, dramatic a capella harmonies, and a heavy smattering of banter. 4-6pm Seven Courtyard or Bar depending on weather /type of band.
