Let’s get sewing….one day workshop to give you confidence and unleash your creativity Do you have a machine gathering dust? Lost under the stairs? Want to sew but don’t know where to start? Put off by the thought of trying to use your machine? Then this workshop is for you!! We’ll have a fun and relaxed day exploring the functions and features of sewing machines and learn what they can do and start to learn how to make and create gifts and items using fabric and cotton.

A half-day 10am to 1pm workshop that focuses on the ancient art of Macramé. £30.00 Includes cake from our cafe and tea/coffee A special floral workshop, which will be making two different projects: a daisy keychain and a daisy / floral mini wall hanging. Workshop Overview Celebrate the beauty of nature in this workshop where we will be focussing on two ‘daisy’ projects: A daisy-chain keychain and a miniature floral wall hanging. This relaxed and friendly workshop is perfect for complete beginners as well as those looking for their next textile art project. Under the guidance of Lucy, you’ll learn a few basic knots and techniques of Macramé and go home with a keychain and wall hanging in a choice of colourful yarns. Perfect gift for a loved one or instead keep for yourself. What’s included: Step-by-step tuition in a fun and welcoming environment All Macramé yarns, beads and accessories provided Refreshments from the Craft Barn Café included in the workshop 10% discount off any cafe purchases on the day Your own unique handmade pieces to take home and gift No previous experience is necessary – absolute beginners are very welcome.
