This story is to give you a small insight into what being a tattoo apprentice at Ritual Art involves. I personally really hate the title ‘apprentice’. I think it makes most people think ‘incompetent teenager’. So to begin with I would like to introduce myself. I am Sammy, I am 27 years old, married and have a daughter, a degree, am a talented artist…..and I am a tattoo apprentice!

On Friday 25th September 2026, Rockin’ Roots Events brings this Scottish award-winning power trio to The Oast for one of the most intimate shows on their autumn tour. Live music in Rainham, Kent does not get much better than this. Alex Hamilton Band — Scottish Blues-Rock at Its Finest Alex Hamilton has been one of the most quietly compelling figures on the British blues-rock circuit for over a decade. Born in Scotland and raised on the music of Robben Ford, Matt Scofield, and the great American blues tradition, he developed a guitar technique that is immediately distinctive — tasteful, subtle, deeply soulful, and technically extraordinary. His debut album, released when he was just eighteen, won the Scottish New Music Award in 2011. His subsequent albums have all been nominated for the British Blues Awards, several years running. He has toured dozens of venues across Britain and extensively across Europe, regularly selling out theatres and music clubs, and has shared stages with Carl Verheyen, Robert Cray, Aynsley Lister, Henrik Freischlader, and King King. Over 700 shows. Multiple award nominations.
