Rainham sits right on the edge of Kent, where the rain sometimes makes for a bit of a soggy walk but that never stops the local scene from ticking over nicely. St Margarets Millennium Centre has been holding its ground with everything from community workshops to live performances without ever needing to shout about it. The town keeps its feet firmly on the ground while still managing to lift spirits on an ordinary Tuesday. You can find a comedy night or a family gathering without having to trudge through a dozen different websites to piece together your evening.

Sunday Morning Celebration

Joining us for our Sunday Morning Celebration at St John's Chatham at 10:30am. Our weekly Sunday Morning Celebration last about hour and a half and contain an engaging mix of sung worship, prayer, Bible reading and talk. During school terms there is a children's group for primary school aged children and a youth group for young people in school years 7 to 10 apart from during our once a month All Age Celebration (the first Sunday of the month). There is also an area set aside for parents and carers with children under 5 years of age. Doors open at 10am and you will receive a very friendly welcome at the door. We also hope that you will be able to join us for refreshments after our Morning Celebration. For those who are not able to join us in the building our Sunday Morning Celebrations are live-streamed on our YouTube channel. Medway Oaks

Run in partnership with Medway Centre of Mission, Medway Oaks takes place on Sunday afternoons from 2pm till 4pm. In the middle of the afternoon there is a short talk and time for sharing. Throughout the afternoon there is plenty of tea, coffee, sandwiches and biscuits available. Medway Oaks is "fun, friendly, everyone is welcome, and everyone is valued. Fun, Friendship, Food, and Jesus what more do we need." Please note that Medway Oaks is for adults only.
