We’re going on the road! Drop The Mic! our regular, free open mic event for young musicians from Southend and the surrounding area; is heading back to Leigh Folk Festival to host the Youth Stage on Saturday 27th June, 2026. You’ll find us in Leigh Library Gardens, behind the library building, where some of the brightest upcoming talent from Southend and the surrounding areas, will be entertaining the crowds. It’s free entry, so just head down and enjoy an afternoon of original and familiar music! Full line up announced here very soon.
