About this event

Stephanie Austin The Other Queen of Devon Murder Mysteries. South Devon has a long history of strong female authors, from Agatha Christie to Mary Wesley. Stephanie Austin, in recent years, has emerged as one of the most popular and successful. Her series of crime novels featuring her hero, Juno Browne, are real page-turning mysteries, all set in Devon, with locations that will be very familiar to local residents. He latest novel ‘How to Get Murdered in Devon’ starts with the discovery of a body in the boot of a car. But it is not the only murder. We will explore Stephanie’s journey as an author, tips she may have about the writing process, and also the genre of crime fiction in general, which seems to be more popular than ever. If you enjoy cosy and not-so-cosy crime, you will love this talk. Stephanie will be taking questions (which can be e-mailed in in advance to ) and also signing copies of all her books after the event.
