That’s why The Carers Support Service and Dementia Direct are pleased to offer monthly dementia-friendly fitness sessions—designed specifically for PLWD (People Living With Dementia) and their carers. The dementia friendly fitness session combines gentle, tailored exercises with a warm, social atmosphere. Whether you’re looking to maintain independence, improve physical wellbeing, or simply enjoy some time out in a friendly group, these classes are here for you. Every activity is fully adaptable to meet individual needs, ensuring that all participants can join in comfortably and safely. These sessions also provide a chance to connect with others, share experiences, and enjoy moments of together. For carers, it’s an opportunity to take part in something enjoyable alongside the person you care for, strengthening your bond while supporting each other’s wellbeing.
