Doors 7:45 PM, Music 8:30 PM - 2 sets of music Line-up: Mette Rasmussen - Alto saxophone Keisuke Matsuno - Guitar Simon Jermyn - Bass guitar Sun-Mi Hong - Drum kit About: NOCTILUME is a band where composition and improvisation meet somewhere in between, shaped by layered electric sound and a shared sense of exploration. The music draws from wide, cinematic post-rock atmospheres and psychedelic rhythms, moving naturally between quiet, fragile moments and more intense, physical peaks. Sun-Mi Hong: Sun-Mi Hong, an acclaimed Korean drummer based in Amsterdam, is a rising star known for her boundless creativity and infectious energy. Winner of prestigious awards including the Edison Award and the SENA Dutch Jazz Competition, Sun-Mi's music blends rooted grooves with exhilarating outbursts. Mette Rasmussen: Mette Rasmussen is a Danish saxophone player based in Trondheim, Norway. She works in the field of improvised music, drawing from a wide range of influences, spanning free jazz to textural soundwork. Rasmussen works on exploring the natural rawness of her instrument - experimenting on what the saxophone is capable of in sound and expression, with and without preparations. Always exploring, pushing, collaborating, from (free) jazz to noise, from punk to soundart! https://youtu.be/g2rPxZExzlM?si=EjWcEqeTqpb3X2CD
