Laura Lantano performs jazz-influenced originals from her upcoming EP Where Are You Really From? and her debut album Returning To Myself, alongside her favourite jazz standards. Her songs are rooted in storytelling and lyrical honesty, delivered with a warm and expressive voice. Her upcoming EP explores stories and rhythms from her Filipino and Mauritian heritage. Joined by pianist Rob Brockway and tenor saxophonist Robin Porter, Laura offers an intimate and engaging evening that lingers long after the final note. Laura Lantano is a contemporary singer-songwriter influenced by jazz and classic songwriting. Her songs are rooted in storytelling and lyrical honesty. After studying music technology and classical piano, she trained as a jazz vocalist at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, grounding her artistry in harmony, improvisation, and expressive performance. Laura has headlined shows at Crazy Coqs, Green Note, Piano Smithfield, and 1901 Arts Club, and appeared at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club (Upstairs) and Jazz Café POSK. She also curated and ran the Jazz Singers Jam at Oliver’s Jazz Bar, hosting evenings featuring leading vocalists including Heidi Vogel, Anita Wardell, Emilia Mårtensson, and Brigitte Beraha. Her debut album, Returning To Myself, features a collection of original compositions recorded with pianist Sam Leak and tenor saxophonist Duncan Eagles.
