Six week creative media course Create your own short animation with Tamara Rosenwyn (12+) 6pm-8pm Tuesdays from 21 April Book Here (FREE for Basement Members – join for FREE today on our homepage) ‘Stop Framing’ Helston Learn to create your own stop-frame animation from scratch — all you need is your phone and your imagination. What is stop-frame animation? Stop-frame animation is the art of bringing still objects to life — frame by frame. It takes planning, creativity, patience, and a mix of skills from art, photography, video, music and storytelling. The result? A finished film that’s completely yours, ready to share with the world. What you’ll get out of it Creative skills — Art, storytelling, photography, music and video all woven into one project Tech skills — Use your own smartphone to shoot and produce your animation Teamwork skills — Project planning, team-building, role delegation and time management Wellbeing — Build focus, self-expression and confidence through hands-on making Your tutor Tamara Rosenwyn — Animator & course leader Tamara created her first stop-frame animation at age 17 and went on to win Runner Up at the Royal Television Society Awards (Student Category).
