Fresh from New York, Cuban-Salvadoran Ana Villafañe introduces herself to the London music scene while starring in “Sinatra: The Musical” (her West End debut). Known for originating the role of Gloria Estefan in Broadway’s “On Your Feet” and for portraying the title character in the upcoming feature film Castro’s Daughter opposite James Franco, Villafañe brings star power and charisma to the stage. Following sold-out solo shows at venues including Joe’s Pub, SoHo House New York, and Amelia’s 1931 in Miami, Ana Villafañe: Unplugged offers a rare opportunity to experience a newly minted West End star up close and personal. Expect pop and Latin hits performed in a style distinctly her own, along with her debut single, “Suelta.” Fresh from New York with Cuban and Salvadoran roots, Ana Villafañe introduces herself to the London music scene while starring in “Sinatra: the Musical” (West End debut) from director Kathleen Marshall and produced by Universal Music. She plays the title character in upcoming feature film Castro’s Daughter, opposite James Franco and currently voices “Eva Eight” on AppleTV+’s Emmy award-winning WondLa (TCA award nomination). Villafañe recently starred alongside Holland Taylor in the world premiere of “N/A” at Lincoln Center, directed by Diane Paulus, playing iconic US congresswoman AOC. Known for her “supernova” (Variety) Broadway debut originating the role of ‘Gloria Estefan’ in hit musical "On Your Feet” (Theatre World Award, Drama League Award).
