Simon Hope Demonstration - Beaded Box with Pewter insert and finial

We were looking forward to Mick Hanbury being our guest demonstrator. Sadly, Mick has had to pull out of the evening as his wife is due to have an operation and understandably he needs to be with her. Not to leave us without a demonstrator for the night, Mick, along with Tony Jones, have arrange for Simon Hope to come along. Simon has been turning since he was 11, and at the age of 26 he was the youngest to be on the register of turners. Simon has a vast experience in demonstrating to woodturning clubs across the UK and Europe. He has presented at seminars in the UK, Ireland, France, Germany and Austria. He has also been a judge for the worshipful company of turners. This will be Simon first ever visit to Burcot and he will be showing how to turn a beaded box with pewter inlay and a finial Not a demonstration that you should miss!
