About the Event Want to explore electronic music making and collaborative jamming aboard a canal barge? Surrounded by the rhythms of the canal, the barge becomes a floating studio where sound, technology, and creativity come together. Whether you have never touched a synthesiser before or already make electronic music, this welcoming workshop offers an opportunity to explore sound synthesis, beats, textures, and electronic soundscapes in an open and supportive environment. Through a collective jam session, participants will experiment with synthesizers and electronic instruments, discovering how individual sounds can come together to create something larger as a group. All synthesisers and electronic instruments will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring their own over-ear headphones with a 3.5mm jack (please avoid Bluetooth headphones or earbuds). If you have a small synthesiser or electronic instrument of your own, feel free to bring it along. No prior experience is required. The workshop is open to beginners and experienced musicians alike.
