Fresh from appearances at the club with Norma Winstone and Ian Shaw, Barry debuts his new project celebrating the late 60’s repertoire of McCoy Tyner. An international meeting of musicians from New York, London and the Netherlands. Barry now lives in Rotterdam and has collaborated and recorded with artists such as Dick Oatts, Michael Moore, Conrad Herwig, Steve Nelson, Norma Winstone, Chris Cheek, Drew Gress, Ian Shaw, Bobby Wellins among many others. This exploration of a neglected era of McCoy’s writing and composing combines the authenticity of musicians who have worked with a huge array of different artists, and features the up and coming Dutch saxophonist Femke Mooren. Barry Green (piano) Gareth Lochrane (flute) Femke Mooren (sax) Oli Hayhurst (bass) Darren Beckett (drums)
