But before the glitter and glamour, she was Rita Maria Crudgington, a young girl with big dreams, persuaded by her first professional band to change her name and step into a new identity. Her television career started in 1984 presenting numerous shows starting with Eggs ‘n’ Baker and, of course, Record Breakers, with the legendary Roy Castle. So many more guest appearances followed – she more recently appeared in an episode of Eastenders. Cheryl will take you through her life with the ups and downs - she will make you laugh and possibly cry and will leave you wanting more. So much to say and many tales to tell!
