3 week Bowl Making and Glazing Workshop Monday 20th, 27th of July and 3rd of August, 6.30-8.30pm Make your own ceramic bowls from scratch! From hand building to glazing. Important info!!: This workshop happens over 3 weeks, Monday 20th, 27th of July and 3rd of August, 6.30-8.30pm. You must be able to attend all 3 dates. A 3 week workshop focused on making and glazing your own beautiful ceramic bowls. Over the three sessions, you’ll hand-build a small set of bowls, create their shapes, and decorate before glazing them in the final week. Suitable for both beginners and those with some clay experience. You will be learning skills such as how to slip cast and press mould with clay! As well as all about the glazing and firing process. Knit a scarf: 4 week course: Wednesday evenings 6-8pm: 6th May, 13th May, 20th May & 27th May

Host: Val Riddiough This four week course will teach you how to create your very own scarf.  You need to be able to attend all four sessions. Val will teach you how to cast on and cast off your stitches, learn knitting stitches including knit and purl and then how to combine these to make a patterned stitch.  Val has created a beginner friendly pattern especially for this course. All the materials you will need to complete the scarf are included in the price of the course.  If you have your own needles you are more than welcome to bring them along. What We Need From You: Your name, email address and telephone number.  Please also make us aware of any disabilities, special requirements or anything you need us to be mindful of, we want to ensure you have the best experience possible. You can do this by sending us an email at Complimentary tea and coffee and snacks are provided.  You are also welcome to bring your own food and drinks to this workshop. During the workshops, we may take photographs for use on our social media and on our website. If you do no wish to be photographed please let us know. Included in the £15 fee are; *8 A3 soya milk soaked and dried papers *The equipment and ingredients to complete the printing process *The plants needed to complete your prints, (although you could bring your own too) *Vanessa to set up and supervise boiling process *washing, drying and ironing service provided for completed prints. Name of class - Botanical eco contact printingHost name - Vanessa ReynoldsDate of class - Sunday 7th June 2026Time of class - 1pm - 4pm In this workshop you will learn how to create your own botanic eco contact prints onto paper, using only local plants, rust, compression and boiling.  These prints can then be used as you like e.g. simply framing them, painting on top of them, making cards, book marks, gift bags etc.  You will also use ready made paper whilst waiting for the boiling process to work it's magic, to make greetings cards, gift bags and cover notebooks.  You will reveal your beautiful, unique botanic plants before you leave. Your host will wash, dry and iron them ready for you to collect from shop in approximately three days following the workshop. Everything you need is provided.
