Drop-in Clinic with David Kilpatrick from ITEXS to ask any Cyber Security questions that you have, plus quick wins and practical steps that an individual business can take. These are often things that are already available (and quite often you are already paying for) but are just not aware of. Some common questions and themes that ITEXS can be asked are: Are we too small to be targeted? How do hackers normally get into businesses like ours? What are the signs we’ve been hacked? Do we really need cybersecurity insurance? How much should a small company spend on cybersecurity? David will be talking about the biggest threats and how to mitigate them, the things you can do to help yourself. Also, what to do if it all goes wrong and you get hacked. Drop in to The Hub Cafe at The EpiCentre, after our networking event, to get the IT and Cyber support you need, free of charge.

Social Media Growth Lab (Plan, Post, Improve) by Alicia Williams

A 3-part workshop – Social Media Growth Lab led by Alicia Williams from The Social Mastery. Each session will be implementation-led, where attendees plan two weeks of content during the workshop, go away and apply it in real time, and then come back to review, refine, and build on what they’ve learned. The aim is to create a space that feels supportive and discussion-led, where people can share what’s worked (and what hasn’t), learn from each other, and build confidence as they go, rather than feeling like they have to get everything “right” straight away. The overall aim is that by the end of the series, attendees feel more confident, consistent, and clear on how to use social media in a way that works for their business. Wednesday 10th June – Session 1: Build Your Foundations & Plan Your Content – We’d focus on understanding each person’s brand, audience, and direction, simplifying what social media actually needs to look like for their business, and then guiding them to plan a realistic two weeks of content during the session itself. The key outcome is that everyone leaves with clarity and something tangible they can immediately implement. Wednesday 24th June -Session 2: Review, Refine & Improve – This would be more discussion-led, looking at what they’ve tried over the two weeks. What worked, what didn’t, what felt easy or challenging, and using that to refine their approach.
