Haverhill Business Network on Wednesday 17th June 2026 Haverhill Business Networking with Dr Jarrod Shilts from ExpressionEdits – a startup’s journey from new ideas to new medicines. Expression Edits are building biology with nature’s mechanisms in mind to advance an internal pipeline of imaginable and medically urgent therapeutic proteins. Using the Genetic Syntax Engine to adapt and enhance existing designs, they aim to overcome production challenges, enabling the creation of promising therapeutics so far considered infeasible. The Genetic Syntax Engine is ideally positioned to support gene therapy optimization, boosting potency and precision without altering core designs. Part of Cambridge Wide Open Week events and sponsored by Connected Innovation Networking is free for all and very informal – come and join from 9am until 10:30am Enjoy free breakfast baps, coffee, tea, & juice while you: Build your contacts from around Haverhill and across Suffolk. Discuss new opportunities and collaboration. Find out from others what they are doing that works. Drop food donations for the foodbank with REACH. Booking is preferred (so we don’t run out of refreshments) – please use the tickets button to link to Eventbrite.
