Led by Karen van Hoey Smith, Artist Mentor, art broker and experienced curator, the course draws on real industry examples and practical guidance. Karen’s background spans art consultancy, gallery management, auctioneering, and professional artist development, giving participants an informed and strategic insight into how artists can progress within the contemporary art market. Across four weekly seminars, you will take part in discussion, review case studies and receive feedback on short weekly tasks designed to help you shape your strategy and strengthen your business skills.
