About this event

Adult beginners crochet coffee morning Host: Shirley Mawhinney & Val Riddiough Time: 10- 12.30pm This is for adults (16+) who have never crocheted before or who are at the very beginning of their crochet journey.  It's a relaxed and very informal session.  Shirley and Val, right-handed instructors, will be there to get you started and help you create a basic shape e.g. square, circle, love heart.   You are also encouraged to bring along any crochet projects that you are currently working on that you'd like help with.  This session is an opportunity to bring together beginners, and blether over a cuppa and biscuits. Starter kits will be available that you can take home and we will offer advice and guidance on how to get your first crochet project started. This is not a structured lesson, so it's perfect for anyone who wants to just give it a go or even just get to know a bit more about crochet. Price: £5 (includes cuppa, biscuits and crochet starter kit) What We Need From You: Your name, email address and telephone numberPlease also make us aware of any disabilities and special requirements e.g. mobility issues.  The coffee morning will take place on the first floor (one flight of stairs) During the morning, we may take photographs for use on our social media and on our website. If you do not wish to be photographed please let us know.
