About this event

DECADES II After last year’s sold-out show, DECADES returns with another fundraiser for CLUB 85 and another massive night of music and nostalgia. 3 bands playing 3 decades of awesome music from the ‘80s, ’90s and ‘00s, all in the name of live music and the love we all share for Hitchin’s premium live music venue; the incredible Club 85. Last year saw people being turned away at the door, so we’re recommending everyone to get your tickets in advance (and save yourself a couple of quid while you’re at it!). At only £8 in advance, with every penny going to Club 85, join us for another unforgettable night x Snubcat Dedicated to the era that saw guitar music become front and centre of mainstream culture. ‘90s indie/britpop had a bit of everything; it was silly, it was boisterous, and it was loud! It had characters and rivalries. It was dance, it was heavy, it was sensitive, but most of all, it was a movement that brought Britain together in a celebration of the incredible music this country can produce. And yeah, having a few pints along the way. The final set at Decades lets us all meet up in the 1990s (almost fully grown)! Zeroes 2006 and the release of Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not changed everything – so we’re celebrating 20 years of the Arctic Monkeys at this one-off gig. Join Zeroes for a high-energy live set packed with their biggest anthems – from the raw chaos of “I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor” to the singalong swagger of “Fluorescent Adolescent”.
