Warminster Comedy Club returns to the Athenæum with another huge night of live stand-up, headlined by one of the UK’s most distinctive and respected comedians, Simon Evans. Known for his razor-sharp intelligence, beautifully constructed routines, and unmistakable delivery, Simon Evans is a true comedy heavyweight. A familiar face from Live at the Apollo, Mock the Week, QI, The News Quiz, and The Wright Stuff, Simon’s comedy is bold, thought-provoking, and relentlessly funny. He has a rare ability to take big ideas, everyday frustrations, and modern life, and turn them into punchlines that are as clever as they are devastating. Hosting the night is Rich Wilson, winner of the Comics’ Comic 2025 Best MC award, an accolade voted for by fellow comedians. Rich is widely regarded as one of the very best hosts on the UK comedy circuit, known for his sharp crowd work, quick reactions, and ability to keep a room buzzing without ever overpowering the acts. Many will also know him as the host of the popular podcast Insane In The Men Brain, as well as from his writing and regular appearances across the UK comedy scene. This is a mixed-bill comedy night, giving you the full comedy club experience from start to finish, with a hand-picked lineup of professional comedians supporting the headline act, all brought together by an award-winning MC.
