Family Fun Day 2026

SAVE THE DATE! Sunday 19 July from 11am. Looking to add some FUN to your summer? Come along to Dorking Halls Family Fun Day on Sunday 19 July in Meadowbank Park for lots of laughter, fun and games – it’s FREE! From 11am to 4pm, the central Dorking park will come alive with a family-friendly festival vibe, with lots for all ages to get involved in, to try, take part in, and enjoy. With free entry, there will be live music and upbeat performances from local community groups, over 40 stalls to browse, delicious food and drink to buy and a funfair providing the thrills. There will be lots of children’s activities, with free woodwork sessions with the fantastic Seeds of Play, free scooter and skateboarding coaching sessions (please note these will be first come first serve with only 15 slots available for each), a fun free obstacle course with Athletix Kidz and of course our world renowned sports races for all ages! There will also be an exciting fun-fair to enjoy! Bring your four-legged furry friends to take part in the Novelty Dog Show, where classes will include Cutest Puppy, Dog Most Like Its Owner, Most Handsome Dog, Musical Sits and, of course, the Waggiest Tail! A highlight of the day will be the sports races taking place in the central arena, with races including the classic Sack Race, Wheelbarrow Race or 3-Legged Race, Sprint Races or Races for the Under 3s or ages 4 or 5s.
