A spectacular silver coin hoard has just emerged from Cotswold soil – the first Iron Age coin hoard in the museum’s collection. It contains more than 160 coins dating to the late Iron Age, and displays a variety of stunning abstract designs attributed to the Dobunni tribe. There is rarely any wording on Iron Age coins, so what messages do they carry?
