Bored with the usual places to go for lunch? Don’t fancy another sandwich on the go? Join us at Blackfriars Cookery School for more dynamic lunch with our 1-hour Express cookery classes. You will learn to make a classic street food dish that can take you to the streets of Bangkok or Mumbai and back, prepared at your very own individual workstation. Each class focuses on a particular street food, giving the chance to explore new and authentic ingredients in just one hour!This workshop looks at the quintessential Thai street food. Found all over Thailand, pad Thai marries different flavours and ingredients that you may have never used before. Pad Thai is all about the preparation, of the vegetables, rice noodles, spice mix and seasoning of the wok. Learn how to make an authentic perfect pad Thai in your lunch hour! Once the cooking is over you can sit, with a beer or glass of fizz, and consume your handiwork. These courses are designed to be relaxed, informative and fun. WHERE: Blackfriars Cookery School TIMES: 12 noon-1pm COST: £35 per person which includes all your food produce, a glass of fizz or schooner of beer or soft drink and the cooked street food dish to either eat in the cookery school or take away.
