About this event

The much-loved Roads to Rail Steam Rally returns from 26 to 28 June 2026, for the sixth year, bringing a spectacular celebration of steam engines, vintage vehicles, live music, and family entertainment — now with an important change to improve the experience for everyone. Event Highlights: A stunning display of Full-size and Miniature Steam Engines Tractors, Stationary Engines and Commercial Vehicles Classic Cars, Motorcycles and Military Vehicles Steam Train Rides on the Swanage Railway Traditional Funfair, food stalls, and real ale bar Live music all weekend Set against the scenic backdrop of the Isle of Purbeck, Roads to Rail is a unique event combining the charm of a heritage railway with the excitement of a steam rally - ideal for...
