About this event
Ever wondered how flour is made? This summer book your own family mini milling session on the top floor of the mill and experience it for yourself! During your 30 minute session, you’ll work together using mini hand mills to mill your very own bag of fresh wholemeal flour to take home, ready to use with your chosen recipe. There’s nothing quite like baking with flour you have milled yourself. Sessions will run at 11am, 11:45am, 12:30pm, 1:15pm and 2pm every Tuesday and Thursday throughout the school summer holidays. Spaces are limited so book early to secure your preferred date and time. Mini Milling sessions are suitable for children age 4+ and they must be accompanied by an adult at all times. The experience costs £15 per group and includes a 30 minute mini milling session, a 500g bag of wholemeal flour and a recipe card to take away. Maximum group size of 5.
