North Riding are a North East England based Americana/folk band, featuring international award winning singer songwriter Hayley McKay and multi instrumentalist/ producer David Neil Crabtree. They are known for blending Americana roots with Tees Valley soul and have gained recognition on both sides of the Atlantic. 2025 saw the band playing the main stage of festivals such as Hardwick Live, Mouth of the Tyne, Durham Fringe and Stockton Calling as well as Radio 2 airplay, with Bob Harris. ‘I LOVE THEIR MUSIC’ – WHISPERING BOB HARRIS BBC R2 Paul Handyside is a folk and roots singer songwriter, formerly of eighties indie darlings Hurrah! whose songs now fuse pop with folk-tinged americana. There’s not much Michael hasn’t done or a club he hasn’t performed at. He has literally been there and done it.
