Lyme Regis Candles Down the River

Sponsor a floating LED candle in memory of a loved one and watch as it drifts gently down the river Lym in the quietness of the evening as the light fades over Lyme Regis. Candles can be purchased for £4 online at lymeregiscarnival.co.uk/candlesdowntheriver or from the Carnival Kiosk in the Marine Parade Shelters on the seafront during Carnival Week. You can also purchase from 8.15pm from the starting point. With each candle purchased you can add a message which will be placed in special memory box This very special and moving event has captured the imagination of the many who have witnessed it over the past few years. Candles are released at 9pm from Jericho Bridge and are removed from the river at Jordan Flats. This is an event part of Lyme Regis Regatta and Carnival Week.
