What are the Club Champs Rules? The top things you need to know about the 2026 Club Champs: Am I eligible?....... You must be a member of the club and enter the races as specified for the Club Champs category. What are the race categories?....... The Club Champs are for Open and Women classification in each of the following categories: Novice Cup (never ever completed a triathlon) Sprint distance Standard/Olympic distance Middle distance Long distance Champs (including Ironman and World Triathlon) Is there an age limit? There is no age limit on participation. If you are old enough to enter the races, then you are old enough to participate in the Club Champs. How old you need to be to participate in any given event is a decision taken by individual race organisers. If you're on the results sheet, you're in the champs. What are the Rules?....... The most important rule is to have fun and enjoy it! The small print:...... When registering for a race, you must put Brighton Tri Club as your club name. If you misspell the club name or use any variation other than Brighton Tri Club (such as Bri Tri, Brighton Triathlon Club, etc.), 25 points will be deducted from your score. If no club name is included, you will not receive any points for that race. For the middle and long distance categories, you must let the Championships and Fixtures Officer (Mark Stevenson) know, otherwise we will not know about it and not be able to count your points.
