The Feminist Reading Group meets monthly to read and discuss feminist texts.Open to all, the group ensures that all selected readings are easily and freely accessible to everyone. The environment is designed to be friendly, welcoming, and encouraging, with a focus on feminist theory—broadly exploring gender, sexuality, and the structures of oppression. Rather than following a rigid curriculum, the reading list is shaped entirely by the interests of the attendees. Each session focuses on a bite-sized chunk of a longer book or a standalone short text, with the group collectively picking the next read at the end of every meeting. If you’re feeling inspired, you’re more than welcome to volunteer to present, but there’s absolutely no pressure. Whether you want to lead the chat or just sit back and listen, it’s entirely up to you. No one will ever be put on the spot! For updates, join the Feminist Theory Reading Group WhatsApp chat.
