This course is not for absolute beginners. It’s designed for adults who already have the basics and want to build confidence, accuracy and technique. Course runs every Tuesday 4, 11, 18 & 25 August. You should already be able to: Use a sewing machine confidently Complete 2–3 sewing projects (simple craft items with seams, hems and neatened edges) Sew zips and buttonholes (we don’t want your first attempt going into your new clothes!) If you’re not quite there yet, start with one of the Foundation Sewing courses at Artisan Stitch first. They’ll give you the essential skills to join this course comfortably. Many students join this course after completing one of Artisan Stitch's foundation sewing classes in Edinburgh.
