A bit about Kirkby Community Fridge Kirkby Community Fridge aims to reduce the amount of waste food from local businesses going to landfill and instead redistributes it to the local community. Open every Wednesday at Kirkby Methodist church from 9.30 – 10.30 We are open Wednesdays from 9:30am to 10:30am. The only rules for people taking food from the fridge is that is not sold on, and that it is used. Please do come round and see us on one of the mornings we are open and have a coffee with us.
