About this event
Mestisa are a Latin American four-piece band based in Leeds. Founding Members are Barbara Kempf and Ana Luisa Muñoz of Chilean and Bolivian/German origins, who have built their repertoire over a twenty-five-year friendship. They are joined by their stalwart bass player, Mike Sandell, and their “new to the fold” drummer and percussionist, Matthew Shallcross. The concert is a celebration of song, featuring uplifting and moving renditions of a multitude of songs from around the world. Come join us in the intimate Seven Arts for an unmissable evening of music. Barbara Kempf: vocals, charango, guitar. Ana Luisa Muñoz: vocals, guitar, cuatro. Mike Sandell: bass.
