This event just refers to the Beastie Tour. Please register separately for the Reid Scott. Cadet Training Weekend 3 (June)

REGISTRATION CLOSES 31st MAY Welcome to the 3rd BSC Cadet training weekend of 2026 13th - 14th June 2026 The briefing will be on the upper deck at the following times: Date High Water Briefing 13th June (Sat) 11:41 08:30 14th June (Sun) 12:37 09:00 This event supports all Cadet sailing abilities; from complete beginners in Optimists on the lake through to experienced Cadets in Optimists, Topper/Teras, Fevas, 420s and Lasers sailing on the river. Additionally, subject to demand and availability we will be offering Cadets the opportunity to crew in Mirrors, Sprites and other sailing boats. Important points: Weather Appropriate Clothing! It can be bitterly cold on the water any time of year so appropriate clothing is essential (see here). Cadets with inadequate clothing will not be allowed to sail Food! This is a non-catered event, please bring your own packed lunch (and lots of cake to share!) Attending this weekend improves your chances of joining Cadet Week (see Cadet week registration Children under 12 and those attending their first training event at Blackwater SC must have an allocated responsible adult on site at all times. Training Groups: Subject to Cadet demand and availability of instructors and volunteers (please do offer your services), we hope to run the following groups: Sprites: Complete beginners, no experience required, minimum age 7. Cadets will learn to sail in a safe controlled manner to obtain their BSC Lake Badge.
