Pasta Making Class and Meal

About this event

Fresh pasta is a delight, and learning to make it is a life skill that stays with you. During this class, we look at all things pasta – from mixing and kneading pasta dough, to rolling techniques, filling and shaping the dough into several of the most popular varieties. Combination of hands-on cooking and demonstration, you will learn to knead, roll, shape and dry home made pasta using easy to buy equipment. We have included making a traditional sauce so you can enjoy eating your creations in our dining area. Join like minded guests on this class to learn about all things pasta. Example dishes: For allergies & dietaries let us know in the booking notes. Note: this is one of the few classes not adaptable to vegan or gluten free diets. Spinach & Ricotta Tortellini – Stuffed homemade pasta, creamy centre with garlic and a hint of nutmeg Egg Yolk Raviolo – pipped filling, cut and cooked Tagliatelle – Ribbon-shaped pasta from Marche region of Italy. Amatriciana Sauce – Flavourful tomato based sauce, perfect to go with your tortellini What’s included: Free drink on arrival. Additional beverages can be purchased at the bar. All ingredients provided, you will eat as you cook and take home the additional dishes, bring containers or use our simple ones. Copies of the recipes will be emailed to you after the class.
