Wednesday 14th October – 6pm to 9pm at the Shelter Are you ready to take on the ultimate test of mind over matter? Join us for our exhilarating Fire and Ice Challenge – an unforgettable evening of adrenaline, entertainment and fundraising in support of our homeless pets. This unique challenge features two powerful elements. Participants will not only complete a sponsored Fire Walk across hot embers, but will also face the Ice Challenge – walking barefoot across broken glass. Together, these challenges are designed to show just how much can be achieved with focus, courage and determination. Everyone who has taken part in previous years has crossed the finish line feeling elated, empowered and proud of their incredible personal achievement. We’ll support you every step of the way, providing guidance and encouragement to help you reach your £150 fundraising target. Registration is simple: secure your place with a £30 deposit and start your Fire and Ice journey today. The evening promises excitement for participants and spectators alike, with a vibrant atmosphere, live performances and warming refreshments. If you’re not quite ready to take on the challenge yourself, come along and cheer on our brave walkers. Spectator tickets are just £3, with all proceeds going directly to help our animals.

Saturday 4th July from 12 noon to 4:30pm – Cheltenham Animal Shelter Open Day Join us for our Summer Open Day, held here on site at the Shelter based on Gardners Lane, Cheltenham. Enjoy a fun-filled afternoon for the whole family with exciting activities and entertainment. Take part in “Have a Go” dog games, our popular fun dog show, enjoy children’s activities, shop for unique products with local traders, and learn more about our work. It’s the perfect day out for animal lovers and families alike – bring your friends, family, and furry companions for a memorable time. FREE ENTRY. Limited parking is available – please park elsewhere and walk to us if you can. stallholder application Family day out: Our on-site charity shop will be open with all its preloved treasures at great prices CASVets will be offering tours behind the scenes of the practice Meet the team from our local Fire Service attending with their fire engine and Cheltenham’s PCSOs We have a bouncy castle and plenty of fun children’s activities Local traders selling unique gifts and crafts. Food and drink stalls including BBQ, bar, cakes, teas and coffees Boozy tombola Raffle with hampers and voucher prizes to be won! Tracy Hunt Therapies offering clothed massage sessions Come and meet Natalie, a fully qualified veterinary physiotherapist providing home visits for animals of all sizes across Gloucestershire.

Meet Santa in his magical Santa’s Grotto and bring your furry companions to the Santa Paws Grotto for a special visit. Explore unique gifts from local traders, shop late at our charity shop, and try your luck with a raffle and fun games. Warm up with delicious homemade cakes, hot drinks, a sizzling BBQ, and a festive cup of mulled wine. Enjoy live entertainment and the sounds of the season.
