BOOK TICKETS FOR A NIGHT WITH JOSEPHINE Part of our French Icons series, A Night with Josephine tells the story – with music, film and dance – of the American-French singer, dancer and actress Josephine Baker. Notorious for her banana dance, she was also a civil rights activist, champion of women’s rights, intrepid Resistance fighter and ‘the most sensational woman anyone ever saw’ (Ernest Hemingway). The acclaimed Counterpoise Ensemble is joined by Cassiopeia Berkeley-Agyepong (as Josephine) for an evening that brings to life the spirit of 1920s Paris and evokes the world of an astonishing African-American cabaret artist who captured the hearts of the French. https://lichfieldfestival.org/wp-content/uploads/Josephine-Reel.mp4 We offer a wide range of discounts, including concessions for students, benefits recipients, carers/essential companions, and Under 30s, plus special standby rates for students and under‑25s (ID required). Family pricing applies to selected events. For further details please see Booking Information | Lichfield Festival or ask our Box Office team. BOOK TICKETS FOR A NIGHT WITH JOSEPHINE
