An express introduction to relief and intaglio printmaking techniques. Learn two techniques in one day. Create a single colour monochrome print in both drypoint and lino, using etching and relief presses. Course structure • Explanation of drypoint and view examples • Introduction to the tools and equipment • Demonstrations of how to scratch a drypoint acetate • Ink up your drypoint acetate and print using an etching press • Introduction to lino and view examples • Introduction to the tools and equipment • Cut your lino image • Ink up your plate and print using a relief press Pre course information Bring images suitable for A5 drypoint and A6 lino. Experience level Suitable for beginners and those wishing to refresh their skills. Maximum 8 places
