Prepare to be taken on a spellbinding journey visiting one of the greatest musical stories ever told. This show is a chronological history of hits from a career culminating in over 100 million record sales! Founded in 1959, in Detroit Michigan, this young, girl group went on to be known as The Supremes, the most commercially successful of Motown’s acts and the most successful American vocal band, with 12 number one singles on the Billboard Hot 100. Our first Act focuses on the rise of The Supremes under the expert management of Berry Gordy. This determined young, girl group, formerly known as The Primettes frequented the Hitsville USA recording studio with the aim of securing the contract with Gordy who suggested a range of new names for the band, with Florence Ballard choosing to re-brand them as The Supremes. Our second act sets to thrill as we take you through the astounding catalogue of hits throughout the years Diana Ross’ solo career – a story which tells itself! So, get ready to dance and sing along to all of the hits that define one of the most powerful legacies in music!!

The Happy Lands: Screening + Q&a With Cast And Crew

Art27 Scotland and UNISON Fife are proud to present The Happy Lands: General Strike Centenary Programme 2026, a series of three specially curated screenings commemorating 100 years since the UK General Strike of 1926. Set in the heart of Fife’s mining communities, this powerful, community-made film brings to life the resilience, solidarity and everyday struggles of the families involved in one of Britain’s most significant industrial disputes. Join us for the final event in the programme: an afternoon screening of The Happy Lands (2012), followed by a Q&A with the film’s cast and crew. The discussion will explore themes of community empowerment, grassroots storytelling, and the continued relevance of these histories today. Looking to the future, it will also consider how the lessons of 1926 can inform collective action in the face of ongoing social and economic inequality. This event is funded and supported by UNISON Fife Health Branch and OnFife. Curated and organised by Art27 Scotland in collaboration with Caireen Stuart.
