BOOK TICKETS FOR RYAN ZHU Hastings International Piano Competition winner 2026 As part of a new collaboration between the Hastings International Piano Competition and the Festival, the HIPC 2026 1st prize winner, Canadian pianist Ryan Zhu, makes a Lichfield debut. A recent graduate of the Juilliard School in New York, and currently studying for a Master’s at Yale, Ryan is without doubt a pianist to watch. Having reached the semi-finals of the 2024 Leeds International Piano Competition, in Hastings he also took away the Orchestra Prize and the Audience Prize, and has already recently made his London debut at the Wigmore Hall. His programme this afternoon will include works by Schumann, Beethoven Sonata in F minor, Op. 2, No. 1 and Brahms Variations on a Theme by Paganini, Op. 35. Tickets are available per concert or for the full weekend (including all 8 concerts) .
