St Mary’s has a fine peal of 8 bells. Ringers meet for practice on Thursdays from 7.30 to 9.00pm, and ring for Sunday services, and occasionally at other times. Are you interested in learning about the rich history and beautiful culture of bell ringing in Britain?The sound of bells has been a cornerstone of our society for centuries, marking important events and bringing people together. If you live in Peterborough, you can experience the joy of bell ringing firsthand by joining the friendly group who gather on Thursdays between 7:30pm and 9:00pm for practice. No matter your age or experience level, everyone is welcome to learn the skill of bell ringing and become part of this wonderful tradition.
