About this event
This 4 x session evening course is an introduction to making pots on the potters wheel. You will learn how to prep, centre and manipulate the clay to create your own forms. Our Pottery Teacher will focus on teaching you how to pull cylinders to a workable height. You will also be shown basic turning techniques to finish your pots off before firing. The course will run on four consecutive Tuesday evenings starting on 14th April until 5th May, from 6pm until 8pm. If you cannot attend a session due to prior commitments or illness, unfortunately we are unable to provide additional sessions to catch up. Our building shuts at 5pm so access will only be available from 5.45pm and our Tearoom will be closed. Please drive in via our middle gates. This course is suitable for complete beginners as well as anyone who needs a complete refresher on techniques. Adults only.
